My Green Thumb

I never had much luck with plants. I tried a few times when I lived in Utah and they all died... I thought, children I can care for, but plants? plants are too hard to keep alive.

Then I moved to England. My first experience with growing a plant was the Valentines day plant.

Around the end of Feb. I had had enough of the dreary weather and decided to add some plants to my life. I bought a window box and lots of plants and was intent to make them grow. Here they are only a few days after being planted.

Then the daffodils started to die so I cut them down and waited for the plants to grow. I carefully watered them and made sure they were placed in optimal sun...
Then they started to flourish...

Then they started to get a bit out of control. Flowers blooming all over the place and every day it looked as if they had grown bigger and bigger. I water them every other day a whole bottle of water and the use all of it. There is serious overcrowding (something I NEVER even thought of). They are lovely and bring spring inside of the house, and I think that by the summer they are going to be taking over the windowsill.
So I guess now, I can officially say I have a green thumb!
I cant wait til I have my own garden!!
